Yan Hai is an accomplished quality & compliance professional with an M.A.Sc. Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. She is a self-motivated professional with 20 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, cannabis, and natural health products industries, working as senior QA consultant, senior QA manager, quality control analyst and R&D scientist. She has thorough knowledge and extensive experience in cGxPs, quality & compliance, and regulatory standards, including FDA, Health Canada, and EU drug, biologics, medical device and cannabis regulations.

She also has a proven ability to improve quality systems, including interpreting new regulatory requirements, fixing gaps between quality systems and regulatory standards, risk assessment,  inspection readiness, and implementation of key quality processes to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness. Throughout her career, she has built an impressive track record: Successfully conducted key scientific and quality roles on 300+ projects.
